What to Make of TabTrade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

The Broker - The Short Version

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.

That last detail is relevant. It suggests the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.

Platforms

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after comparing.

FIX API is there for algo traders but needs the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That would round things out when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is the infrastructure is there. That signals something about priorities.

Put together that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Not many platforms in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Regulation

Now, the thing you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense is your call.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.

The complete breakdown, including the full fee table, read more withdrawal policies, and regulatory details, is at Trade The Day.
